Apple Dump Cake

Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cans apple pie filling
Topping
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread apple filling in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix and cinnamon over the filling.
  4. Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts on top before baking.
