  • 1 package refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
  • 1 pound mild beef sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 package peppered gravy mix (2.3 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a skillet, brown the beef sausage over medium heat; drain excess grease.
  3. Cut each biscuit into quarters and layer them in the baking pan.
  4. Spread cooked beef sausage over the biscuits.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper; pour over the casserole.
  7. Prepare gravy according to package instructions and pour it over the egg mixture.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, use hot sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the egg mixture.
