Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
- In a skillet, brown the beef sausage over medium heat; drain excess grease.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters and layer them in the baking pan.
- Spread cooked beef sausage over the biscuits.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper; pour over the casserole.
- Prepare gravy according to package instructions and pour it over the egg mixture.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, use hot sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the egg mixture.
