  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast beef sausage or turkey bacon
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease baking sheet.
  2. Unroll dough, separate into triangles. Arrange in a ring, overlapping wide ends.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook egg mixture in skillet until softly set. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in cheese and sausage/bacon into egg mixture.
  6. Spoon egg mixture over wide ends of triangles.
  7. Fold points over filling, tucking under to form a ring.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the egg mixture.
