  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast thinly sliced or diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or your favorite melting cheese
  • 0.25 cup cream cheese optional, for extra creaminess
  • 4-6 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley Optional: chopped
  • Shredded lettuce or spinach Optional: for serving

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Stir in mozzarella cheese and cream cheese (if using) until melted and combined with the chicken.
  4. Warm the flour tortillas according to package directions.
  5. Spoon the cheesy garlic chicken mixture evenly onto the center of each warm tortilla.
  6. If desired, add fresh parsley or shredded lettuce/spinach. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
