Ingredients
  

Meat and Vegetables
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen diced potatoes
Canned Goods
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
Cheese and Dairy
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional) for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook ground beef and onion until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Mix beef, potatoes, soup, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper; transfer to a greased dish.
  4. Top with cheddar cheese and optional mozzarella; bake covered 45 mins, then uncovered 15 mins.
  5. Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

You can add extra cheese or vegetables for more flavor.
