  • 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls (8 count)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled beef sausage or turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, pressing perforations to seal.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in cooked beef sausage (or turkey bacon) and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour egg mixture over the crescent roll crust.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before cutting into squares and serving.
