- Grease a crockpot.
- Combine sausage, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Stir in cheese, hash browns, and optional vegetables.
- Pour mixture into the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until eggs are set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a spicier casserole, use hot breakfast sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
