Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a half slice of cheddar cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
- Place a beef sausage on top of the cheese.
- Roll up the dough from the wide end to the point.
- Place the pigs in a blanket on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with milk.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a crispier crust, brush with melted butter instead of milk.
