Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix sourdough starter, pumpkin, water, and oil until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture, stirring into a dough.
- Knead dough for 5-7 minutes until elastic, then place in pan and let rise 1-2 hours.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and hollow-sounding; cool before slicing.
Notes
For a crunchier crust, brush with egg wash before baking.
