Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook onion and ground beef in olive oil until browned; season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix cream of mushroom soup and milk; layer potatoes, beef mixture, and cheese in a greased dish. Pour soup mixture over layers.
- Top with remaining potatoes and cheese, cover with foil, and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
- Let cool briefly before serving.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add a splash of sour cream before serving.
