Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Cut each triangle into half or thirds lengthwise to create thin strips.
- Wrap each little smokie with a strip of dough, leaving a small portion exposed.
- Place wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning (optional).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with mustard or other dipping sauce.
Notes
For a sweeter flavor, brush the pigs in a blanket with a little maple syrup before baking.
