How to Make a Pepperoni Rose

  • beef pepperoni slices (thin)
  • Pizza dough (pre-made or homemade)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  3. Cut pizza dough into strips (1 inch wide, 6 inches long).
  4. Spread pizza sauce on each dough strip.
  5. Lay pepperoni slices along the strip, overlapping slightly.
  6. Roll up the dough strip tightly to form a rose shape.
  7. Pinch the bottom of the rose to seal it.
  8. Place each pepperoni rose into a muffin tin cup.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese around the base of each rose.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  11. Let cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
  12. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the pizza sauce!
