Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Boil diced potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
- Mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar, onions, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir drained potatoes into the sauce, then spread in the baking dish and top with crushed cornflakes.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden, then serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add chopped herbs or bacon bits on top before baking.
