Ingredients
  

Cake Pops Ingredients
  • 1 box cake mix any flavor
  • 1 can frosting matching cake flavor
  • 1 package candy melts pink, white, or your mom's favorite color
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Sprinkles or edible decorations for Mother's Day

Method
 

  1. Bake cake according to package directions and let cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  3. Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined and dough-like.
  4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Melt candy melts according to package directions.
  6. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it halfway into a cake ball.
  7. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, coating completely. Tap off excess.
  8. Immediately decorate with sprinkles or edible decorations.
  9. Place the cake pops in a stand or back on the parchment paper to harden completely.
