One-Pan Pumpkin Dump Cake

Ingredients
  

Pumpkin and Wet Ingredients
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Dry Cake Mix
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional) optional
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch dish, sprinkle cake mix, nuts (if using), and drizzle butter.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden and set.
  5. Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For added crunch, sprinkle extra nuts on top before baking.
