Pineapple Dump Cake

A quick and delicious dessert combining pineapple, cake mix, and optional toppings for a sweet treat.

Ingredients
  

Canned Goods
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
Baking Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
Toppings (Optional)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut optional
  • 1 cup chopped nuts optional
Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread crushed pineapple in a 9x13 inch dish.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix over pineapple.
  4. Add coconut and nuts if using.
  5. Pour melted butter over top and bake 45-50 mins.
  6. Cool slightly and serve.

Notes

This dessert is best served warm with a scoop of ice cream.
