Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1 egg egg

Method
 

  1. Mix warm milk with yeast; let sit 5 mins until frothy.
  2. Combine pumpkin, sugar, butter, and egg; mix well.
  3. Add yeast mixture to pumpkin mixture; stir to combine.
  4. Mix dry ingredients; gradually add to wet, form soft dough.
  5. Knead dough, let rise 1 hour, shape into rolls, second rise 30 mins.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 mins; cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Ensure dough is kneaded well for soft rolls.
