Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Mix pumpkin, oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined. Whisk dry ingredients separately, then combine with wet. Fold in nuts if using.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 60-70 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
- Whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over cooled bread before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of ground ginger or cloves to the batter.
