Ingredients
  

Dried ingredients
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup cane sugar or white sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  2. Cream sugar, pumpkin, melted butter, vanilla, and egg.
  3. Combine dry and wet ingredients; fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop dough onto baking sheet; add extra chips if desired.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes; cool on wire rack.

Notes

For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool.
