  • 1 lb Breakfast beef sausage
  • 1 tbs Dried Minced Onion
  • 1 Dozen Eggs
  • 0.75 c Whole Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 c Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese (divided)

Method
 

  1. Brown sausage with onion.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  4. Add 3/4 sausage to casserole dish.
  5. Top with 1/2 cheese.
  6. Pour egg mixture over sausage and cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until nearly set.
  8. Top with remaining cheese and sausage.
  9. Bake 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  10. Cut and serve.

Notes

This casserole can be assembled the night before and baked in the morning for an easy breakfast.
