Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; beat sugars and butter, then add pumpkin and egg.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures; fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough onto baking sheets; bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool cookies on sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and cool on the sheet.
