Ingredients
  

Cake
  • 1 box white cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Frosting & Decorations
  • 1 container vanilla frosting (12-16 oz)
  • Pastel sprinkles
  • Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • Edible flowers Optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Combine cake mix, water, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Once the cake is completely cool, frost with vanilla frosting.
  6. Decorate with pastel sprinkles, fresh berries, and edible flowers (if using).
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, substitute milk for water in the cake mix.
