Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, and garlic powder.
- Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap the strips of dough around each filled jalapeno to resemble a mummy, leaving a small space for the eyes.
- Place the wrapped jalapenos on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately add candy eyes to the exposed cheese area.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, leave some of the jalapeno seeds in!
