Sticky Sesame Cauliflower

Ingredients
  

Cauliflower
  • 1 medium Cauliflower cut into florets
Batter
  • 1/3 cup Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder optional
  • 1/3 - 1/4 cup Water
Sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice grape juice vinegar
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha Sauce adjust to taste (you add more if you prefer more heat)
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger finely minced
  • 4-5 cloves Fresh garlic finely minced
  • 2-3 tbsp Honey/ maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water
Garnish
  • Sesame seeds
  • Spring onions
  • Sliced Chillis

Method
 

  1. Combine cauliflower florets with rice flour, cornstarch, oil, garlic powder (optional), and water. Mix well.
  2. Bake or air fry the cauliflower until crispy.
  3. In a pan, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, ginger, garlic, honey/maple syrup, cornstarch, and water. Cook until thickened.
  4. Add the cooked cauliflower to the sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds, spring onions, and sliced chillis.

Notes

Adjust the amount of sriracha to your preferred level of spiciness.
