Method
- Combine soy sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, brown sugar, and black pepper in the slow cooker.
- Place chicken, bell pepper, and pineapple chunks with juices into the slow cooker.
- Stir to coat chicken and bell peppers with marinade and pineapple juice.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or high for 2-3 hours.
- Adjust seasoning as desired about 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with scallions and serve over rice (optional).
Notes
For a thicker sauce, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with two tablespoons of cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
