Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Peel, boil, and mash sweet potatoes.
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes with sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and eggs.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking dish. Combine pecans, flour, and remaining sugar; sprinkle over top.
- Optional: add mini marshmallows on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a crunchier topping, toast the pecans before adding.
