  • 1 pound cooked turkey ham diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 8 large eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions Optional: for garnish

Method
 

  1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange half of the bread cubes in the dish, then half of the ham and cheeses.
  3. Repeat layers with remaining bread, ham, and cheeses.
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Pour egg mixture over the bread and cheese layers, pressing down gently.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Remove cover and bake for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with green onions, if desired.
