Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread cherry filling in a 9x13 inch dish.
- Drizzle vanilla and almond extracts over cherries. Mix cake mix with nuts if using, then sprinkle over cherries.
- Pour melted butter evenly over the top, then sprinkle salt.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, add more nuts or serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
