Crackers and Bread
  • 1 package Assorted Crackers variety pack
  • 1 loaf Bread sliced baguette
Fresh Fruits
  • 1 cup Grapes seedless
  • 1 cup Berries mixed berries
  • 1 apple Apple Slices thinly sliced
Dried Fruits
  • 1/2 cup Apricots dried
  • 1/2 cup Figs dried
  • 1/2 cup Dates dried
Nuts
  • 1/2 cup Almonds roasted
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts halves
  • 1/2 cup Pistachios shelled
Olives
  • 1/2 cup Green Olives pitted
  • 1/2 cup Black Olives pitted
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata Olives pitted
Vegetable Dips
  • 1/2 cup Hummus store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup Baba Ghanoush store-bought or homemade
Pickled Vegetables
  • 1/2 cup Gherkins small pickles
  • 1/2 cup Cornichons small pickles
  • 1/2 cup Artichoke Hearts quartered
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Red Peppers jarred
  • 1/4 cup Jams or Honey for dipping
  • 1 sprig Fresh Herbs rosemary, thyme

Method
 

  1. Choose a large serving board or platter.
  2. Arrange the cheeses in different areas of the board.
  3. Place crackers and bread around the cheeses.
  4. Add small bowls of dips, olives, and pickled vegetables.
  5. Fill in the gaps with fresh and dried fruits, and nuts.
  6. Arrange artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers attractively.
  7. Add small bowls of jam or honey.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs.
  9. Serve immediately or chill for later.
