  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup milk (dairy or safe alternative)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Frosting & Sprinkles
  • Peanut-free frosting of your choice
  • Peanut-free sprinkles optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
  4. Beat with an electric mixer on low until combined, then medium for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Frost with peanut-free frosting once cool.
  9. Add peanut-free sprinkles, if desired.
